What should I know about the HPV vaccine?

The HPV vaccine is an important immunization that protects against the human papillomavirus, which can lead to cervical cancer and other health issues. In the UK, the vaccine is offered to girls and boys at ages 12-13, but catch-up vaccinations are available up to age 25. It's safe, effective, and can significantly reduce the risk of developing certain cancers. The vaccine is administered in two or three doses depending on the age at which it is received.
